From June 2nd to 5th, 1–3 PM, Wadena and Verndale students are invited to a fun, low-pressure introduction to the world of speech. Whether you're curious about acting, creative writing, debate, or just want to get better at public speaking, this is a great chance to explore what speech has to offer. Current speech team members can also use this time to start picking scripts for next season. We'll meet in the Robertson Theater at the Wadena-Deer Creek High School. No need to bring anything—just yourself (and maybe a water bottle if you’d like). We'll be learning about all the speech categories and playing speech-related games—no public performances, just learning and fun!
